En wat denken jullie? Ik ben er erg tevreden over. Enkel de zoom is een beetje te stijf. Hopelijk wordt dit soepeler met wassen. En anders zal ik het los maken en tricot biais maken in de plaatst van voorgefrabriceerde katoen biais te kopen. Ik vind deze vaak erg stijf. Bij het wassen betert het meestal wel. Hopelijk ook bij deze jurk. Btw, valt het verschil tussen deze 2 foto’s jou op? Het lijkt me erg moeilijk om het niet op te merken. Ik heb een nieuwe camera gekocht. Er gaat een wereld voor me open. Heerlijk! Nu nog voldoende tijd investeren om alle hoekje en kantjes te leren kennen.

Store bought biaistape tends to be very stiff in my experience. If it doesn’t look better after a few washes I’ll replace it by homemade knit biaistape. wow – it was very fancy before, but it looks fabulous now, much lighter and much more wearable – and if you regret it, you can always make another maxi version – the advantages of being a sewer 🙂
I’m very pleased with the result. And making an other maxi won’t be easy since the fabric is sold out. And finding pretty sequins in brown is very hard. But I’m happy, so no more sequins for now :).
Wauw dit is echt mooi! Beide vooraf en achteraf! Allebei erg mooi, nu is hij wat draagbaarder voor dagelijks. Anders was hij echt exclusief en voor leuke, luxe party’s ofso 😉 Geslaagd!
En ik ben nu niet bepaald uitgenodigd op de nacht van exclusief, dus 🙂
Zo is het weer een heel ander jurkje! Ik hoop dat je hem veel kan dragen en er nog veel plezier van hebt! De foto’s zijn mooi scherp zeg, ook de kleuren zijn veel sprekender.
Dat hoop ik ook :), ik ben kei blij met mijn nieuw fototoestel 🙂

I wore it at a wedding and at a music festival on my birthday. Also at a fair which had a circus theme, and there will be countless occasions to come 😉

Thanks! I was heart breaking cutting my pretty long dress short, but I’m really happy I did it! I’m getting so much more wear out of it now. Still it’s hard to cut up my own “babies”.
