Who’s that girl,… En jawel een tweede New Girl Copycat. Zoals ik al vertelde ben ik verlief op de stijl van Jess. Het perfecte excuus om nog een jurk uit haar kleerkast na te maken. En ook omdat het al super lang op mijn pinterest inspiratie bord staat. Dit is mijn tweede kledingstuk voor de Copy Cat Sewing challenge
//Who’s that girl,…. Another New Girl Copycat. I’m in love with Jess her style. Damn girl, just keep rocking those polka dots. Since I love the style soooo much I couldn’t resist making this dress. And because now I can tick off one of the dress on my sewing inspiration board.
Ik heb gekozen voor een tricot stof. Jess haar jurk is waarschijnlijk van katoen gemaak. Maar ik wou een jurk hebben die ik naar het werk kan dragen, maar ook om op de zetel te hangen. Eigenlijk is het een beetje een pyama geworden. Maar zo eentje die je altijd en overal aan kan doen. Het zit goed en het ziet er goed uit. Match made in Heaven.

Voor deze jurk gebruikte ik de Renfrew Top als bovenstuk. Voor het onderstuk greep ik terug naar mijn allom gekende klokrok die ik aangepast heb. Zoals je kan zien heb ik enkel plooitjes aan de voorkant gemaakt. Met een stevig poep zoals de mijne zijn plooitjes niet echt aan te raden op het achterwerk.
Ondertussen maakte ik nog een paar jurken op deze manier, nieuwsgierig?
// I used the Renfrew Top as base for this dress. The skirt is an altered version of my trusty self drafted flared skirt. I only added pleats to the front of the skirt. If you have a simular bum like me, then you know that pleats on the bum aren’t an option.

Lap, nu zit ik wéér met dat liedje “Who’s that girrrrrl?” in mijn hoofd.
Dat kleedje is … perfect! Kleur, patroon, stof, het vallen van de stof… Het klopt volledig!

Ik kan je kleedje niet pinnen, anders was het op mijn bord ‘mooie naaisels’ terechtgekomen – wat een pracht van een kleedje zeg!
Wat lief! Normaal kan je het nu wel pinnen, mijn foto’s staan prive op flickr tot ze op mijn blog komen, maar ik moet dat natuurlijk handmatig aanpassen.

You should, it is a dream dress. How lovely you watch New Girl together with your daughters. It is so much fun to have an activity all together. Honestly I think this season isn’t that good just jet. Hopefully it will change.
